How it works

dxw3 Consent stores user consent in localStorage, sets consent defaults for Google tags, and only loads allowed tracking when the visitor has granted permission.

  • New consent log: each choice is recorded on the server with a random consent ID, the choices, time, consent version, language and the exact wording shown, without an IP address. Search, CSV export and delete all in Settings → Consent → Consent log. Records are deleted after a configurable period (default 3 years).
  • Archived consent wording, including the content of linked cookie and privacy policy pages on the same site.
  • The visitor’s consent ID is shown in the consent settings dialog.
  • Configurable withdrawal cleanup for extra cookie, localStorage and sessionStorage names per category; Google’s _gcl_* storage is now removed on marketing withdrawal.
  • Cache emptying now clears only page caches (FlyingPress, LiteSpeed Cache, WP Rocket) and keeps optimised CSS and JavaScript.
